The evolution of the groupe ABCM
A history of innovation and industrial growth
The Groupe ABCM is the fruit of the association of French small and medium-sized businesses specializing in the industrial sector, each bringing unique expertise to the equation. The adventure began in 1986 with the creation of ABCM in Coëx, Vendée, by Bernard MAILLET. What began as a small machining company has become, over the decades, a major player in industrial production, offering services in design, prototyping, cutting, machining, welding, processing, painting, assembly and logistics.
The Group, now under the leadership of by Landry MAILLET, now counts 130 employees across 6 production sites, and generates sales of 38 million euros. Thanks to strategic expansion and the integration of new companies, the ABCM Group is now able to deliver complete subsets to its customers, tailored to the specific requirements of each industrial sector.

A year-by-year evolution
1986
ABCM founded in Coëx, Vendée
Bernard MAILLET founds ABCM in Coëx, Vendée. The company specializes in the machining of articulated axles and castings in medium production runs, laying the foundations for what will become the Groupe ABCM.
2007
Creation of TSGO
TSGO diversifies ABCM’s offering by specializing in surface treatment, in particular ARCOR. This step marks the beginning of the diversification of services offered by the Groupe ABCM.
2013
Takeover by Landry MAILLET
Landry MAILLET takes over the management of the Group with the acquisition of ABCM and TSGO. In the same year, ABCM SOLUTIONS Holding is created to oversee the Group’s activities.
2018
Showcasing the future
The Groupe ABCM is recognized for its innovation and awarded the “Showcase of the Future” label, underlining its ability to integrate cutting-edge technologies into its industrial processes.
2019
Acquisition of MECATURN and Factory of the Year award
The Groupe ABCM expands with the acquisition of MECATURN in L’Herbergement, a company specializing in precision machining for the aerospace industry, thus reinforcing its expertise in this sector. The same year, ABCM is awarded the “Factory of the Year” trophy for its outstanding industrial performance.
2020
Creation of LASERDEC and Industry of Tomorrow
Launch of LASERDEC, a new company dedicated to sheet metal laser cutting in Boufféré. ABCM is also awarded the “Industrie de Demain” trophy for its avant-garde vision.
2021
Integration of IVEA
IVEA, a design office specializing in the creation of rack and pinion jacks, located in La Roche sur Yon, joins the Groupe ABCM, further expanding its technical capabilities.
2022
Acquisition of SAMEV
The Group continues its expansion with the acquisition of SAMEV, a company located in Beaulieu sous la Roche, strengthening its skills in prototyping and small series production.
2023
Member of the ETIcincelle program
Groupe ABCM has been rewarded for its constant growth and forward-thinking initiatives by being included in the 2023 class of the ETIncelle program, which aims to accompany and support French small and medium-sized businesses in their growth.
